Origen’s Wellspring Atmospheric Water Generator to Officially Launch at the University of North Florida January 30, 2026
Introducing a practical, on-site alternative to bottled water
You’re invited to join Origen on January 30th, 2026, at the University of North Florida for the official unveiling of the Origen Wellspring 100, a new atmospheric water generator (AWG) designed to deliver clean drinking water wherever it’s needed. This launch marks the beginning of a six-month study led by the UNF Sustainable Solutions Lab, evaluating the Wellspring 100 in northern Florida conditions. The live event will be hosted in partnership with the university and Captiva Verde, one of Origen’s official U.S. distribution partners.
The Wellspring 100 empowers organizations to produce their own drinking water on-site, without relying on municipal lines, trucking, or bottled water. As climate pressures increase and water systems face strain, reliable on-site water generation is no longer a nice-to-have — in many places, it’s becoming essential. Origen’s Wellspring offers a practical alternative to bottled water and a sustainable option for facilities looking to reduce their environmental impact.
Built for Real-World Demands

The Wellspring 100 atmospheric water generator produces about 103 gallons of clean drinking water per day (at 80°F / 60% RH ) using patented atmospheric water generation technology that is energy-efficient and cost effective. It requires no municipal connection or groundwater access, just humidity and a power source— making it well-suited for environments where traditional water infrastructure is limited, expensive, or unreliable.
Common use cases include:
- University campuses and research facilities, where permitting, infrastructure, and availability of quality water can be challenging and costly.
- Hotels and resorts, particularly in remote or water-stressed regions, where bottled water is expensive and wasteful.
- Emergency response and disaster relief operations, where immediate access to safe water is critical
- Off-grid, industrial, and temporary facilities that require dependable, on-site supply
With quiet operation, a service-friendly design, and strong energy efficiency, Origen’s Wellspring is built to meet real operational needs — not just lab conditions.
A Strategic Partnership with Captiva Verde
The launch event also marks the start of Origen’s partnership with Captiva Verde, which will distribute Origen’s atmospheric water generators across institutional, commercial, and government markets. Together, the teams are focused on making on-site water generation accessible in regions where traditional systems are costly, unreliable, or simply unavailable.

Designed for Sustainability and Longevity
The Origen Wellspring 100 offers a low-impact, high-performance alternative for organizations working toward sustainability goals without compromising reliability. Its modular components make routine maintenance straightforward, while its flexible power options allow it to operate on standard electricity or integrated renewable systems.
Whether used to supplement an existing water supply or to operate fully off-grid, the Wellspring 100 is designed for long-term use with minimal environmental impact.

The Future of Water is On-Site
The Wellspring 100 reflects Origen’s mission to lead the next generation of industrial and commercial water solutions. By applying proven technology and air-to-water expertise, Origen has created a system intentionally designed to scale—making on-site water production viable, sustainable, and accessible.
Water shouldn’t be scarce, unpredictable, or dependent on failing systems. Origen enables water where and when it’s needed most.
